Sumit Chander is a practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. It was on the Public Interest Litigation filed by Sumit Chander, Advocate that resulted in establishment of 18 Fast Track Courts and 22 Commercial Courts in Delhi. This news was covered in all national newspapers. He also gained popularity in the case that helped an aspiring law student to give CLAT exams despite being refused earlier on the ground that he was under quarantine for suspected COVID-19.

He is frequently invited as the legal expert on various news channels such as India Today News, AajTak, NDTV 24×7, etc. He has been interviewed by SCC Online and various other legal magazines.

Sumit Chander is popular among law students and has been invited to various legal conferences and law colleges as a speaker on various topics of law.

He is a Mediator with the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre and have done an advance mediation training program from Pepperdine University, California. He has also been appointed as an Arbitrator in various commercial matters by the High Court of Delhi.
